The log from the previous procedure isĬode: Select all Sat Oct 27 10:51:01 2012 I entered using "list" and I saw only one folder of all. The log from this procedure is bery big ~3GB and I cannot copy it because while loading it kills itself. ![]() When this came to an end another message was stating that "No partition found or selected for recovery". When this ended there was a message saying "Strucrure OK" so I selected for a "Deeper search". I should mention that my HDD is 2000Gb while the total cylinders that testdisk could access were ~250Gb. A message was there stating that "Partition Read Error". Next I pressed "Advanced" but there was a statement "No partition available". ![]() I pressed enter and then selected "Intel" in the "Partition Table Type". Step 2 - Select a possible drive that contains your files and let it build file structures for recovery. At that point I was able to see my HDD on the list. Part 1: Raw to NTFS Converter Download Step 1 - Download iCare Pro, the professional raw to ntfs converter to save the raw drive at first. I unmounted it and mounted again while initialising testdisk. TestDisk saw what was really there, unlike everything else save MiniTool.TestDisk 6.11, Data Recovery Utility, April 2009 MiniTool always showed it correctly, however, even after booting back into it to look around. Other tools that I tried to view the drive said RAW, too. Instead, the entire 465GB drive was listed as RAW. MiniTool performed its move without incident, and I booted into Win7 expecting to be able to expand the partition. This would allow me to then use Disk Management in Win7 to expand the partition. I used it merely to move a small partition on my NTFS data drive (Disk 1) so that the partition was located to the "left" of the free space. I had used a bootable CD of a well-regarded program called MiniTool Partition Wizard 7.1: I thought I'd drop a line of thanks here, since I flew very close to the sun with this problem, and based on a thread found at the following link was directed to TestDisk:
